Whether it’s Africa, India, Thailand, Thornlie, or wherever we have a heavy heart for those who need to hear and respond to the message of salvation. Many opportunities for short-term mission trips, prayer support, and active at-home roles are waiting for you. Our children’s ministry includes the Sunday ministries of Sprouts (2months - 2 years), Seedlings (2yrs - 4yrs), and Kidzone (5yrs - 11yrs), where children are cared for and ministered to at their own level. We also run Kids Club, a social event, twice per term for the children 5 -11 years. The Thornlie Youth ministry is aimed at high-school aged kids. They get together on Friday nights for fun and serious input, and there is also a midweek lunchtime program at Thornlie Senior High School (also involved with ‘Buddy’ and Mentoring programs). Our young adults ministry is aimed at people over 18 years old. We have various groups that meet together regularly, so check our ‘Connect Groups’ brochure to find out when and where there is a group that suits you.

Connecting people of all ages with teams in different sporting areas. We also send a team of youth and young adults to State Youth Games, an annual inter-church sporting event. Contact Kym Edwards or Micah Bowman through the church office for more information.

‘Girl Talk’ is for women of all ages and stages of life. Together, our purpose is to strengthen each other with the truths of God in the midst of the many lies we struggle against in our day-to-day lives. Our men’s ministry consists of quarterly events designed to get men together and provide encouragement, challenge, and blessing. Groups are available to help men work through some of the maze of life issues they face. Speak to one of our Pastors for more information.

We love our music here at Thornlie. There is a dedicated team of musicians, vocalists, and technicians who love serving the Lord in these ways. They're always seeking to build and expand this ministry. Contact George Putland through the church office for more information.

There comes those times for some of us when coping with the day-to-day gets tough. Thornlie Life Centre is a community service that can provide emergency food relief, crisis support, professional counselling, financial guidance, and a listening ear. TLC stands with people through their difficult times.

Thornlie Life Ministries runs groups for men and women that help us to move through difficult phases in our life. These groups help us navigate “where to from here” and are held over 6 to 22 weeks, depending on the course. Contact the church office for more information…
