For over 45 years, we’ve maintained an active presence in the City of Gosnells and have become a diverse church rich in cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds.

As we embrace diversity and celebrate uniqueness, we’re also united by the common faith-bond we share in Jesus Christ — our Lord and Saviour. In turning from our sin and placing our trust in all He has done, we experience the unity mentioned in the Bible.

We Began Together

Providence Christian College (formerly known as Thornlie Christian College) comes from humble beginnings and has a heritage stretching back to 1972. The facility was built debt-free thanks to the faith and sacrificial giving of its founding members, who took on considerable financial costs in the church’s early days.

In 1984, we founded Providence Christian College as a ministry of Thornlie Church of Christ. The College began as a vision to establish a Christian school in the local community that shared the church’s principles and beliefs. Today, the College is a close-knit community with students from Kindy to Year 12.

The church and school vision is that we continue to grow in faith, patience, love, and diversity. It is our hope that the church and school family are seen as places of acceptance, security, and learning as we journey together in faith.
